 "Dignified elegance". These words describe Custom Knife Maker Hiroshi Saito's dedicated custom works.

At the Seki Outdoor Knife Show in October 2014, I fell in love with this sophisticated handmade knife collection. When I picked this knife up and had a closer look, I saw that every little detail had been carefully taken care of, it had a perfect grip and balance, overall it was the fruit of its creator's spirit and philosophy.

Hiroshi Saito, the maker of this knife, has dedicated many long years to creating custom knives. The making process for custom knives is very different from that of factory knives, which use many standardized, automated processes. Making custom knives requires effort, and the value of the final product lies in how well the product reflects the creator's philosophy and the perfection of their skills.

SH-26 Simple Elegant Hunter (VG-EXOS Stainless Steel) Beautifully hand-polished, hair-line finished VG-XEOS Stainless Steel San-Mai, Clip Point Blade comes with a custom handmade Desert Ironwood Handle with Brass Hilt that are securely fastened to a hidden tang. Master Saito always pays extra attention when selecting the best parts of high quality material for the handle and for the overall design. Comes with a custom handmade dark-brown leather sheath.

VG XEOS is newly developed high-grade stainless steel from Takefu Steel Company. While the Chemical Composition of this new mysterious steel is currently a confidential trade-secret of the company, they have disclosed that, compared to other steels in their VG series, VG XEOS was specially engineered to offer improved High Hardness, Strength, Wear Resistance and Corrosion Resistance. Furthermore, VG XEOS can offer this desirable balance of improved characteristics.
