R5-9 "Tanken" created in March, 2023 by Yukio Nibe out of the antique real Katana blade (Zanketsuko 残欠鋼), 6-3/4" (including Copper Habaki) Tamahagane carbon steel Hamaguri-ba blade in 5.2mm thick, with Hamon, 226mm (11-1/2") overall length (249mm including Saya), Japanese Oakwood handle wrapped with Urushi lacquered strings, Blacken Metal Tsuba (Guard) and Copper Ornament butt end, Japanse Ho-wood Saya with Urushi lacquered and replaceable copper hanging button, Can be disassembled!
