Takeshi Saji TS-380 "GENPEI" has 5-1/2" Hitachi Shirogami No.2 (White Steel No.2) blade with soft iron inserted in the mid to upper part of the blade. This wrapping construction is one of the traditional Katana forging methods called "Koubuse" to make the blade durable to bending and breaking.

It requires special forging technique, 5-1/4" Black Wooden handle with Fuji-maki (Wistaria wrapped) and Black coated Metal Bolster, Comes with Wooden sheath with brown straps.
