Description

In 2008, Some of the Seki knife authorities have formed "Challengers Knife Club" to train and inherit Seki traditional knifemaking technique and knowledge to young knife carftsmen in Seki. There are now 15 club members gathering once a month. They are working at Seki knife factories, and challenging to make their own knives after work and weekends.

JKD is trying to support and encourage them by introducing thier knives for sale. Here are some of the latest knives received.

TOSHIYUKI TAKAHASHI TT-10 Custom Folding Dirk

  Experienced and skilled Custom knifemaker in Seki, Mr. Takahashi has been working hard to master every knife making process and detailed & precision custom works during the decades of his knife making careers.  He also makes Fancy Folders with smooth and snap action, perfect fit & finish. 

 This is a rare Dirk blade with long blood groove between the hollow ground blade and swedge, 3-3/8" highly mirror polished solid VG-10 blade with reinforced spear-point (He changed the depth of hollow ground at the tip area for strength) , 4-1/2" Hand  contoured Jute Micarta handle, Liner-lock system with Stainless steel liners and matching Jute Micarta spacer, Stainless Steel pins and Stainless tubular lanyard hole on end,  Rugged, yet lightweight and comfortable grip, Comes with Handmade Leather pouch with snap off belt loop,
