The TS-610 New Black Hunter is a neat and practical design, blade is made of very special new steel called "SG-III (3)" from Takefu Steel company. SG-III is newer and update version of SG-II Powdered High Speed Tool Steel. Takeshi Saji explains, SG-III blade makes better rust resistance and can have the higher hardness (HRC65). SG-III is still very new and mysterious steel. But this new steel is expected to be produced more and available within several years in the market.

The TS-610 New Black Hunter has a Simple and practical appearance, SG-III blade core sandwiched with soft stainless. . The Drop Point Blade has hand contoured Linen Micarta Handle. The knife also features a full tang construction. It comes with Black Lacquered Wooden Sheath.
