Mcusta MC-23 Series – A Unique Collaboration Between Mcusta and Mike Irie – Where Japan Meets American Craft
The MC-23 is Mcusta’s very first collaboration with well-known American custom knifemaker Mike Irie. Since 1991, Mike Irie has been creating beautiful, compact hunting knives known for elegant and functional design. Now, Mcusta and Mike Irie have teamed up to bring that same spirit with the Mike Irie's Classic Design Collections "Sport 100", "200", and "300" series.
Made by Mcusta in Seki City, Japan, the MC-23 Series blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with Mike Irie’s American design sense. The result is a fixed-blade hunting knife that feels both classic and fresh.
The blade is made from VG-10 Damascus Stainless Steel, features a Matte Gray Finish with a traditional hammered texture (tsuchime) for a striking look. Just like Mike Irie’s originals, the blade has fine jimping on the spine for grip and control.
The handle is made of contoured Desert Ironwood with precise and elegant grooves—true to Mcusta’s refined style. It’s comfortable in hand, balanced, and built for practical use. This knife comes with a Brown Leather Sheath.
