Mr. Nagata’s craftsmanship has earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Folder Award at the Seki Knife Show and the Excellent Folder Award at the JKG Knife Contest.

This is his latest creation unveiled at the 2025 Seki Knife Show. This model is inspired by the classic Italian stiletto style, featuring a slim profile and needle-sharp spear point blade.

The RWL-34 mirror-finished blade with custom file work on backblade. Every detail, from the file-worked back spring bar to the inlaid lock release button, reflects Nagata’s meticulous dedication. 

The solid stainless-steel handle is hand-rounded to perfection, giving it a warmth and softness rarely found in metal. Meticulously inlaid black mother of pearl sits seamlessly within the frame—every curve, every fit executed with absolute precision.
