MK-2022NBCM/CO  "BERG PRO-TRAIL". MOKI wanted to make a small but versatile, practical fixed blade knife. The newly finished “MK-2022NBCM/CO “BERG PRO-TRAIL” is now available for outdoor campers, bushcrafters, hunters and fishermen. The knife has a Heavy Duty 3.5mm thick and 3.3" (85mm) long VG-7 steel SAN-MAI Drop Point blade, which has a Hamaguri-ba (Convex) blade grind and a swedge at the tip.  The BERG Fixed Blade Knife also features a 3.9” (100mm) long Full Tang handle, with Hand Contoured Brown Canvas Micarta scales, nickel silver rivets and a tubular lanyard hole. The reduced handle weight ensures a good blade balance. Overall length of 7.2” (185mm) and weight (Without sheath) of 4.1oz (116g). Comes with a Practical, Detachable Brown Leather Belt Sheath and a Gift Box.

Like VG-10, VG-7 is a special Japanese stainless steel, with an equally high potential. The Tungsten added to VG-7 Special High Carbon Stainless Steel allows increased hardness and cutting performance. The VG-7 core (HRc 62 to 62.5) is sandwiched with 420J2 Stainless Steel for ease of maintenance and resistance to corrosion and discoloration. The laminated SAN-MAI (“Three-layer”) blade allows the blade to have a hard, strong cutting edge and also great toughness.
